The Reason is you... - Monday, July 12, 2004 09:44 a.m.
Bleh..more java class...by the way, check out this song if you never heard of it before ^_^ It's called "The Reason" by Hoobastank.
I'm not a perfect person
There's many things I wish I didn't do
But I continue learning
I never meant to do those things to you
And so I have to say before I go
That I just want you to know
I've found a reason for me
To change who I used to be
A reason to start over new
and the reason is you
I'm sorry that I hurt you
It's something I must live with everyday
And all the pain I put you through
I wish that I could take it all away
And be the one who catches all your tears
Thats why i need you to hear
I've found a reason for me
To change who I used to be
A reason to start over new
and the reason is You
and the reason is you
and the reason is you
and the reason is you
I'm not a perfect person
I never meant to do those things to you
And so I have to say before I go
That I just want you to know
I've found a reason for me
To change who I used to be
A reason to start over new
and the reason is you
I've found a reason to show
A side of me you didn't know
A reason for all that I do
And the reason is you
Waah! I love this song ^__^
Mood: Pretty happy actually. Got out of class early ^.^
all in a day's work - Saturday, July 10, 2004 10:54 p.m.
Beh...busy Saturday this is. I swear yesterday felt more like Saturday than today does, but judging from the amount of work I did today, today most definitely IS Saturday. What did I do today? Slept in till 11:30 for starters..*coughs nervously* then had fun, washing 4 cars, least today wasn't so hot... Afterwards, helped my mom and sis clean out our garage till 10 pm @.@
Today's been fairly low key, tomarrow's working on my second speech >< and writing an extra credit 1 pg paper for speech...*grumbles*
By the way, something for thought ^_^
Song of the moment: "What Makes you Different(Makes you Beautiful)" - Backstreet Boys. Beautiful lyrics. Beautiful voices. What more can you ask for?
catch up time...where do I start? - Wednesday, July 7, 2004 09:13 a.m.
....it's been a while hasn't it? gah...way too long...and so much has happenned @.@
Well...the school year ended and I did well enough in all of my classes..3 B's and 1 B- -_-;; and my gpa went up 0.01..this is gonna take some time me thinks...
Said good-bye to my friends at Cal Poly for the summer *anime tears* Hopefully I'll be able to hang out with them sometime over the summer. *crosses fingers* I want love to go up for Jordan's birtday but mother dearest wouldn't have it >< *grumble* I'm worried about how the group dynamics of my "close-knit" group of friends would change next year but alas, hopefully it'll change for the better. On the plus side, I've made lots of friends in the anime club at Poly and the arcade :) fellow gamers and anime watchers..I'm gonna miss everyone and how I got my butt handed to me practically everytime I played against them ^^;;;
Now, comes the biggest change in my life recently...yours truly, has a boyfriend.

Surprise, surprise? For those of you, who haven't met him (yet). His name is Mark and he's the best thing to ever happen to me last year ^.^ Is love in the air? Oh most definitely. *supresses a squell* He's an Electrical Engineering student at Cal Poly (gah! I know too many of those!) and has ALOT in common with me O.O As to how we met, at the Cal Poly arcade of all places, which makes sense if you know us ^^;; Mark's a really sweet person, completely understanding, generous, funny...gah! must resist urge to go on and on @.@ so yeah...you want to know more about my great guy? drill me yourself in person or online ;)
Speaking of whom...*sighs* I miss him so much..this is going to be a long summer without him..THOUGH..we still talk on the phone ^__^ *hugs cell phone* my mom is gonna kill me when she sees the phone bill but must talk on phone...with Mark..must talk...
What else...What else..
I saw three movies semi-recently ^.^
1. Shrek 2 - FUNNY! Heh...great movie especially if you like spotting the popular culture references that are in it like me! Saw it with Poly friends so not complaining and had Fresh Choice after :)
2. Spider-man 2 - ^___^ Comic book fangirl's dream! Woot! Peter + MJ = 'bout time! And watched it with Mark so even better :) *nods firmly*
3. Mean Girls - Not bad for a teen flick. Funny. Interesting. Not too bad overall. HAnged out with Alica so that is always fun ^.^ Haven't spent time, just hanging out with her for a while.
Ooo! Sabby's finally 18. I'm so happy for her though I miss when she was little and actually looked up to me ^_~ in a less literal sense anyways. It's...strange how grown up, she and her group of friends have become. Oi...the number of dirty jokes they all know...wierdness. She's no longer my lil sis *sniffs*.. *goes off to find Sabrina to hug*
In summary:
This year's been fun, insane and sad in so many ways.
- group dynamics are changing
+ group dynamics are changing
Song of the moment:
"Because you Loved Me" - Celine Dion

Confused about life X.X

Song of the moment: Small Two of Pieces by Joanne Hogg from the "Xenogears" *sighs happily*
Run through the cold of the night
As passion burns in your heart
Ready to fight, a knife held close by your side
Like a proud wolf alone in the dark
With eyes that watch the world
And my name like a shadow
On the face of the moon
Broken mirror, a million shades of light
The old echo fades away
But just you and I
Can find the answer
And then, we can run to the end of the world
We can run to the end of the world
Cold fire clenched to my heart
In the blue of night
Torn by this pain, I paint your name in sound
And the girl of the dawn with eyes of blue, and angel wings
The songs of the season are her only crown
Broken mirror, a million shades of light
The old echo fades away
But just you and I
Can find the answer
And then, we can run to the end of the world
We can run to the end of the world
We met in the mist of morning
And parted deep in the night
Broken sword and shield, and tears that never fall
But run through the heart
Washed away by the darkest water
The world is peaceful and still
Broken mirror, a million shades of light
The old echo fades away
But just you and I
Can find the answer
And then, we can run to the end of the world
We can run to the end of the world

fun day yesterday! - Saturday, May 1, 2004 03:50 p.m.
'ello :) Yesterday was fun. Except for class -___- that was annoying....on the bright side, I got some of the guys from the arcade to have lunch with me =P We talked video games and anime. Fun stuff. Then chilled the afternoon and ate some backstage. Sat in the UU, drawing till I hanged out with Jimmy for the evening ^^ Saw last week's great episode of Smallville (O.O Sugoi!), watched anime and played video games!
Days like these, I like whoever invented anime is a genius! Guess what? Yesterday I had my biggest Guilty Gear winning streak yet! Three wins ^__^ Whee! Not that much compared to the others -___- (Mark told me that apparrently Joe's had a +40 winning streak before.....Ack!) but quite good considering that I've just learned this in the arcade last quarter. I don't think some of the guys like my May character very much anymore ^_~
Go May-chan!
Today should be fun ^^ Slept in! *pumps fist* Then had lunch with Jordan and went to amtgard, finding only Cedric there ;__; ah well....I'm sure our dear esteemed PRESIDENT *cough*Sara*cough* and her servant *cough* I mean boyfriend would come next week. Talked with him some and practiced alot, I think I improved quite a bit :) Now, slacking till anime club, which should be fun! I'll keep you posted! Till then...
Same 'ol same 'ol - Thursday, April 29, 2004 12:12 a.m.
Today was same 'ol same 'ol ^^ Class was alright, English midterm....was....interesting @.@ dunno how I feel about it....*Thy scared*
I studied some today -__- was planning on studying alot more today but yeah....friends are such nice distractions aren't they? Thankfully, I don't have anything due tomarrow ^^;; and talking to Brian and Mark WAS alot of fun ^_^ Hanged out with Leighton and Jordan after a bit, was fun since they weren't talking about Shadowrun (a RPG game, they're apart of) the whole time...
Song of the post: The Promised Land (vocal version) from Final Fantasy II - *drools* such a simple song but soooo good....whee! Must get more!
Full Moon! - Tuesday, April 27, 2004 12:24 a.m.
Regular day today ^^ class, arcade, lunch, arcade, homework, homework, chill, dinner, arcade, homework, homework, chill @.@ in about that order too =P
I watched episode 13 of an anime series called, "Full Moon wo Sagashite". It's such a cute series ^^ Funny and I just love the music, then again I'm a fan of all anime music eh? Here are some screens I took of it :)
Song of the Day: "Myself" by Myco from Full Moon wo Sagashite
Lyrics! Lyrics!
doushite doushite suki nan darou
konna ni namida afureteru
Why, oh why do I love you so much?
My tears overflow this much
ano koro ha ushinau mono ga oosukite nani mo utaenakatta
sukoshi hanareta basho soko ga watashi no ibasho datta
Back in that time, there was so much to lose that I couldn't sing anything
A place just a little ways away--That was where I was
kimi no hitomi no oku ni ano hi samishisa wo mitsuketa
futari niteru no kana?
kitsukeba itsu mo tonari ni ite kureta
That day, deep in your eyes, I saw the loneliness
Are the two of us really alike?
If I'd realized it, you were always by my side
doushite konna ni suki nan darou
kimi no koe kanshii hodo hibiiteru yo
ima made nani ga sasae datta ka
tooku hanarete wakatta yo
Why do I love you so much?
Your voice rings inside me so much it makes me sad
Just what it was that supported me so much
From afar, I realize it now
nakinagara sagashi tsuduketa maigo no kodomo no you ni
kedo soko ni ha eien nante aru wake nakute
Like a lost child, crying and searching
But there was no such thing as forever
"dare ni mo shinjinakereba iin da yo" tsubuyaita ne
futari niteru no kana?
ano toki kimi wo mamoru to kimeta no ni
"It's okay if you don't believe in anyone" you whispered
Were the two of us really alike?
And I decided then I would protect you
Lalalalaa - Monday, April 26, 2004 12:43 a.m.
Me up late, as usual....thank you for classes at 9 and not 8 @.@ *yawns* bedtime me am thinking....
Today was the usual....lunch with friends.....homework....then hang out with friends :) I've come to the realization that I've been slacking on my Super Smash Bros playing seriously -___- the computers are kicking my rear end around like a pinball @.@ oy....
Well adios!
Song of the day: Beer for My Horses by Tobey Keith (with Willie Nelson) - Waaah! I love this song! Quite addictive for a country piece :)
Walk, Amtgard, Anime = FUN! - Sunday, April 25, 2004 12:27 a.m.
Fun day! Fun Day! Today was fun! First off, went to breakfast with Leighton at McDonalds at 7 AM @.@ yeah...craziness but fun still :)
Then, met up with Jimmy and some of the memebers of ACM (at 7:30.....and Jimmy was STILL late...) (Association for Computer Machinery) to help "volunteer" at the Walk for Homelessness in SLO....no one came till like 30 min AFTEr we came o.O so much for waking up early....then we ended up walking in the 3-mile walk @.@ since there wasn't much else that we could do...that was tiring but not as much as I thought it would be =) Felt very proud to help out too, hehe saw a cameraman from one of the televsion stations there too, wonder if I'll be on tv *winks* ?
Then, off to Firestone's for lunch with everyone :) yummy! At 1:30 was Amtgard and I think I'm improving...yay! Tom, one of the visiting experienced players complimented me (hopefully) on a move I pulled off on another player ^_^ I'm gettting to be more confident at it which is great, hmm...wonder if I can drag some of the arcade people there..? eh, probably not ^^;;
Hanged out in my room till anime club at 5 and saw so many people I recognized from amtgard, Poly Bemani and the arcade O.O Talked to Brian and grabbed some dinner midway with him ^_^ Then, got Jeremy to sit with us as we watched the rest of it and laughed at the anime music videoes that James brought....they aren't the type that I usually watch but I can see why so many people liked it. More chatting then back to the arcade to watch Brian and Jeremey do Dance Dance Revolution. They're both insane!
Wheeeew! Thy is tired now ^^;;;....Too much talking....too much anime....
Song of the moment: "Slash!" Digimon card slash theme from Digimon Tamers - great Japanese song, ask me to send you it if you want to hear it ^_^
